| This tape is unlike any other that you might have encountered. Sure... there are a LOT of vinyl tapes out there, and they will probably work to seal the gap between your fuselage and wing.... and will probably work to join removable wing-tips, etc. But those cheap vinyl tapes, that come on the tiny little rolls, will also either bond permanently so that you are tearing your covering material when you remove them... or they don't stick at all (particularly a problem in high humidity areas....)... or they leave a sticky, goo trail behind when you pull them up.
Our Sailplane Assembly tape does NONE of these things. This is a thin, industrial quality vinyl tape... it wraps around compound curves well... sticks firmly, but doesn't tear the covering when you remove it..... holds VERY well in high humidity areas.... and comes off cleanly... with no GOO TRAIL to clean up. Try it!.... You'll like it. 60 yard rolls are $6.95.... and if you do the math, you'll see that it is even less expensive than those tiny rolls of El Cheapo stuff! |
